Council is seeking an experienced administrator to join the Assets, Facilities & Fleet section in Mundubbera. This position requires an organised and enthusiastic person who will provide key administrative support to the Fleet Coordinator and wider Fleet team, in delivering contemporary fleet services across the organisation. The successful applicant will have the ability to work well in a team environment, have excellent communication skills and perform work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

 

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the Fleet Coordinator for internal and external stakeholder enquiries and operational matters.
  • Work with the Senior Mechanic to order parts, raise and manage Purchase Orders and resolve basic invoicing and receipting issues.
  • Co-ordinate annual renewals of fleet permits, inspections and registrations.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, proposals, reports and correspondence.
  • Action customer service requests and respond to enquiries.

 

To be successful in this role you must possess the following:

  • Unrestricted drivers licence – ‘C’ class is essential.
  • Superior organisational and time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service and/or stakeholder management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a self-managed and independent manner, as well as take direction.
  • High level of computer literacy to assist with efficient production of materials, and adaptability with use of business-related systems specific to the organisation.

Training and development to gain specific knowledge and skills relevant to this position will be supported.
