At its December general meeting in Gayndah yesterday, Councillors endorsed the North Burnett Regional Council 2020-2021 Annual Report.

“The Annual Report is a celebration of grassroots projects and essential services achieved for the year,” Acting Mayor Radel said.

The Annual Report 2020-2021 is Council’s most comprehensive report to the community, detailing its progress in meeting the strategic goals outlined in the Corporate Plan 2017-2022, as well as presenting the audited financial statements.

“This Annual Report is a document written for community. Everyone will be able to easily read and understand the projects and activities our hardworking Council team has achieved over the past financial year.

“I encourage our residents to take the opportunity to read over the Annual Report and you will get an understanding and appreciation that our services are varied and we have our community front of mind in everything we do.

“The Annual Report is a great chance to reflect on the past year and look forward to the future. Councillors adopted a new Corporate Plan in June 2021, ‘A Plan for Generations’. This Plan was developed after extensive community consultation and sets the strategic direction for this year and beyond.
