Assistance available for Primary Producers following October Severe Weather
If you are a primary producer affected by the Central Coast Queensland Severe Weather from 16th through to the 19th of October 2017, grants are available from the Queensland Rural and Industry Development Authority (QRIDA) to assist your business to pay for costs of clean-up and reinstatement.
Mayor Chambers advised, “This assistance, although not all encompassing, will help to ensure that primary producers affected by this severe weather event can recover and return to normal as soon as possible.”
“Council has made and will continue to make representations to all levels of Government for appropriate assistance for our community. I strongly urge those affected by this October weather event to contact Mark Barrett (details below) if they are considering how this funding may support their recovery,” Mayor Chambers said.
