Our Environmental Health team were excited to get back to the Binjour Plateau State School yard to talk to students about recent illegal dumping in their local area.
Our team shared stories of what happens to the environment when people choose to be irresponsible with their waste. The students agreed to join the campaign to help stop illegal dumping in Binjour through education.
The students have created some fantastic posters with important messages to help educate their local community. These are on display in Binjour – keep an eye out for them and their valuable messages!
These signs were purchased as part of the Illegal Dumping Hotspot Grant.
