Come on an adventure at the RM Williams Australian Bush Learning Centre

Jun 8, 2018 | Front Page Feature, News

Following the completion of the RM Williams Australian Bush Learning Centre Tourism Enhancement Project, residents and travellers to the region are invited to explore the upgraded facilities.

The project has seen the introduction of a ‘Night Show’, adventure playground, internal refit of current displays, bush camp, and landscaping.

Whether spending the night or spending a few hours, you will be delighted to view the newly installed, first in Australia – Son et Lumiere – a steel sculpture that comes to life with illuminated local story lines.  Here you will learn more of our Australian icon and locals that lived, loved and worked in the area.  Hear their stories of bushcrafts and bush antics.  The FREE ‘Night Show’ can be viewed each evening at 7pm, 7.15pm, 8.30pm and 8.45pm.

Adventure into the newly developed playground and meander through a dry creek bed reliving the days when children walked through the bush and experienced life along the way.  This playground caters for the youngsters or those young at heart.

Enjoy your meal at the Bush camp kitchen featuring electric barbeques, wash up facility and sink with plenty of room for the family.  RV Friendly and overnight stays are most welcome*. Bookings are essential. (* Charges apply)
