Eidsvold Bush Tucker Walk works underway
The Bush Tucker Walk garden works have commenced in Eidsvold! As part of the Building Our Regions Funding from the State Government, the Bush Tucker Walk will be developed to showcase native bush tucker and medicine plants along a safe pathway linking the RM Williams Australian Bush Learning Centre with the Showgrounds and Eidsvold CBD.
Works are starting on the Centenary Gardens section of the walk, near the Showgrounds. Council is commencing works on the gardens following recent rain and ideal weather conditions to establish the plants before winter next year. The Harkness Creek pedestrian bridge and footpath areas are committed to be constructed by Department of Transport and Main Roads.
