Gayndah River Walk Progression Meeting

Nov 11, 2016 | Front Page Feature, News

Monday, 21 November at the Gayndah Community Hall Supper Room, 6:30pm.

North Burnett Regional Council is holding a Community Consultation meeting in order to form a “Master Plan” for the Gayndah River Walk. The Gayndah River Walk has the potential to be a important attraction and leisure area for the community.

Interested community members are encouraged to attend and discuss their vision for the future of the river walk.

Previous work, as well as your ideas and suggestions will be collated into a master plan to illustrate the community’s vision for the river walk area.

The plan is that this Master Plan will be used to drive the long term development of the river walk. The Master Plan can help to focus future Council budgets, applications for grant funding support from the federal and state governments, and provide information on the activities and support that the community and individual businesses wish to make.

Council will use the Master Plan in its forward planning processes and funding applications, and the plan will be made available to community groups wanting to help with this great development opportunity.

Meeting will be held on

Monday the 21st of November

at the

Gayndah Community Hall Supper Room

Commencing at 6:30 pm
