Gayndah to Bid Pineapple Street Toilet Block Farewell – Temporary Road Closure: Pineapple Street to Anzac Parade, 5-6 June 2020

Council has engaged a contractor to demolish and remove the amenities block in Pineapple Street, Gayndah.  The facility has not been in use since sustaining excessive structural damage.

Demolition and removal will begin 7.30am this Friday, 5 June with the works expected to be complete by 5.00pm, Saturday, 6 June 2020.

Residents and business owners are advised that the section of road from the intersection at Pineapple and Capper Streets, to Anzac Parade will be closed for the duration of the demolition.  Local access will be available for residents and business owners.

Council urges community members to stay away from the area whilst works are undertaken.
