Invitation to the official opening of the RMWABLC Tourism Enhancement Project

Following North Burnett Regional Council’s successful application for funding through the 2016-17 Grants and Subsidies programme, Council received funding for the “RM Williams Australian Bush Learning Centre Tourism Enhancement Project” to supply and install equipment to provide a ‘Night Show’, adventure playground, internal refit of current display, bush camp, and landscaping.

Chief Executive Officer Mark Pitt explained that the project will increase the tourism economy to both the RM Williams Australian Bush Learning Centre and the North Burnett region whilst connecting the community with its local culture.

Community members are invited to attend the official opening of the project at the RM Williams Australian Bush Learning Centre, 23767 Gayndah-Monto Rd, Eidsvold QLD 4627 to be held on Sunday, 18 March 2018, commencing 11:00am.  Light lunch provided.

Mr Pitt thanked the Queensland Government for the funding and acknowledged that the project will provide community benefit through the increase of tourism visitation and employment opportunities.
