North Burnett Transport Service fare increase

Council wishes to advise customers booking travel on the North Burnett Transport Service that a fare increase will come into effect as of Monday, 1 October 2018 to align with the Consumer Price Index (CPI).

Changes in transport fares are reviewed in consultation with TransLink who provide funding for the service, with this being the first increase applied by Council in the four years of running the service.

The rise reflects increased costs associated with providing the service such as fuel, wages and vehicle costs.
