Notice of Test – Mundubbera Early Warning Siren

Friday, 1 December 2017 – 12:00 pm midday.

Residents are advised that the bi-annual test of the Mundubbera Warning Station Siren is scheduled for midday on the 1st of July and 1st of December each year.

The test will comprise:

1) A Voice Announcement in English and Tongan that a test of the system will take place and that the broadcasting of the warning tone is for testing purposes only.

2) A 30 second broadcast of the warning tone.

It is proposed that the test be undertaken three times over a period of 15 minutes.

The Mundubbera early warning system continues Council’s efforts and investments which aim to improve emergency preparedness in our communities.
