Mt Perry and Eidsvold have been abuzz with activity this week! The RACQ Foundation volunteers have spent a week in our communities assisting organisations in various projects with their skills, tools and passion for serving people.
The RACQ Foundation assist community organisations throughout Queensland to get back on their feet after natural disasters. Over the past 10 years, the RACQ Foundation have assisted 213 communities, we are thrilled that they have added Eidsvold and Mt Perry to that list.
The Eidsvold and District Historical Society Inc this week were one of the lucky organisations to receive assistance. The RACQ Foundation volunteers helped undertake maintenance, cleaning of display cases, buildings and exhibits and also painted the historic train carriage. Check out this amazing before and after transformation!
Stay tuned for further updates on the wonderful work the RACQ Foundation volunteers have performed in our communities!
