RADF Round 2 now open!

Jun 25, 2018 | Front Page Feature, News

Round two of the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) is now open…

If you need assistance with your or your group’s artistic aspirations why not submit an application for funding to make that project a reality!  As Thomas Merton said, “Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time.”

Our last round saw some unique and exciting applications amounting to over $24,000 aimed to benefit our ‘Naturally Beautiful’ North Burnett community.

Past RADF projects include:

  • Workshops on preserving various documents and photographic collections
  • A Musicians Muster
  • Developing a series of public artwork sculptures.
  • Writing Workshops
  • Visual Arts Professional Development
  • Leather Crafting Workshops
  • Assistance with Business Marketing

The projects you submit are only limited by your imagination, and as Einstein said, “I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination”.  The RADF Nuts & Bolts guidelines are available on the North Burnett Regional Council website.

Round 2 closes 5:00pm, Friday 3 August 2018.

For further information on RADF contact Council’s Community Development staff on 1300 696 272 (1300 MY NBRC), email Council or download an application form and guidelines from Council’s website.
