Temporary Road Closure – Philpot Road, Mundubbera
From Tuesday, 21 February 2017…
As part of North Burnett Regional Council’s NDRRA program, Philpot Road, Mundubbera, will be closed from Tuesday, 21 February 2017 for approximately two days while flood recovery works are undertaken.
The upgraded road is expected to re-open on Thursday, 23 February 2017, weather permitting. Road users are advised that an alternate route will be available via Shallcross Road during this time.
The works will include the reconstruction of a portion of the concrete floodway. The road closure will facilitate a more cost effective, quicker and safer project, and when complete, the upgraded road will provide greater flood resilience.
Motorists are requested to travel with extreme care and responsibility, to drive to the prevailing road conditions and to adhere to signage. Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks you for your patience whilst this work is in progress.
