North Burnett Regional Council is calling for expressions of interest from local artists to display their artwork or hold workshops during the Regional Arts Development CULture Tour (RADiCUL), funded by Arts Queensland’s Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF).

North Burnett Regional Council Mayor Cr Rachel Chambers explained that RADiCUL, a travelling gallery on wheels, will tour surrounding regions providing the opportunity for local artists to not only promote their art, but demonstrate their own unique talents at pop-up workshops in areas which are not conventionally used as arts spaces.

“The RADiCUL tour will provide an opportunity for North Burnett artists to showcase, market and sell their artwork, practices and services to a wider audience,” Mayor Chambers said.

RADiCUL premiered in Gympie on Saturday, 16 and Sunday, 17 June at the ‘Duck Ponds’ (Alford Park).  Other areas visits are yet to be confirmed.

If you wish to come on board please contact North Burnett Regional Council for a copy of the RADiCUL Plan which contains an expressions of interest form. The artwork included on the road trip will be selected by a panel.
