Future Road Works
Construction work is undertaken on a priority basis, with the Council adopting a forward program of works. Construction projects are prioritised based on criteria such as traffic volumes, network linkages, safety environment, asset condition, school bus routes, freight routes for primary production, tourist routes, amenity, image and expectations.
The program can be affected by outside influences such as weather, disasters, emergencies, individual road failures, significant external contributions, increased industry or development activity in a particular area.
Maintenance Schedule for week commencing 18 November 2024 – weather permitting:
Zone 1: Bullawarra Road
Zone 2: Colodan Road & Pinedale Road
Zone 4: Gorge Road, Elliotts Creek Road & Hays Road
Zone 5: Cheltenham Road
Zone 6: Gahans Road & Back Benyenda Road
Zone 7: Boondooma Road – Heavy Formation Grade
Zone 8: Hawkwood Road – Heavy Formation
Zone 9: Taylors Road
Emergent Flood Repairs completed 14/11/24
North: Kalpowar Road – TMR – Maintenance Grading
South: Biggenden Coalstoun Lakes Road – RMPC works
Contracting crews will be in various locations finalising the February Flood Works.
