Future Road Works
Construction work is undertaken on a priority basis, with the Council adopting a forward program of works. Construction projects are prioritised based on criteria such as traffic volumes, network linkages, safety environment, asset condition, school bus routes, freight routes for primary production, tourist routes, amenity, image and expectations.
The program can be affected by outside influences such as weather, disasters, emergencies, individual road failures, significant external contributions, increased industry or development activity in a particular area.
Maintenance Schedule for week commencing 21 October 2024 – weather permitting:
- Zone 1: Goodys Road
- Zone 2: Foleys Gully Road
- Zone 3: Aberfeldie Road, Jones Road & Netz North Branch Road
- Zone 4: Sunday Creek Road & Sandy Camp Road
- Zone 5: Yerilla Road
- Zone 7: Maintenance Grading: Redvale Road & Gravel Pit Access Road
- Zone 8: Emergent Works: Coonambula Edisvold Road, Riverliegh Station Road, Crisps Road & O’Bil Bil Road
Emergent Flood Repairs – Due to volume of work & rapidness of work completed this list is not static & more work may be completed.
- North: Monto Streets – Pavement Repairs
- South: Gayndah Mt Perry Road – Maintenance Grade
- Draytons Contractors: Jaru Road
- C& K Contractors: Riverleigh School Bus Road & Boondooma Road
