Council has signed up to take part in the Drought Angels inaugural Flanno for a Farmer Day, to support Australian farmers and their families.
The North Burnett region is primarily made up of farming communities, which are often affected by natural disasters. By donning your finest flanno on Friday, 25 August 2023 and making a donation you’ll be helping
Drought Angels to provide financial assistance, food hampers, care packs and mental wellbeing support to farmers in need.
As Drought Angels state, “most farmers would give the shirt off their own backs if it meant helping someone in need. It’s because many have seen hard times and understand that a simple gesture can make a world
of difference. Flanno for a Farmer is just that: a great way to let Aussie farmers know that we’ve got their backs.”
Donations will be accepted in person at your local North Burnett Regional Council Customer Service and Library Centre, calling 1300 696 272 or using the below QR code up to close of business on Friday, 25
August 2023. For more details, go to flannoforafarmer.com.au/ or call 07 4662 7371
