Tenders are hereby called for the sale of the following abandoned goods.
Written Tenders close at 4pm on Friday 30 August 2024.
Tenders should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer at admin@northburnett.qld.gov.au and clearly marked with the appropriate Lot Number.
Terms and Conditions of Sale By Tender
- Sale Conditions
- The goods are sold on “as is where is” basis. The North Burnett Regional Council offers no warranty express or implied as to the quality, condition, working order or suitability of the goods for any intended purpose and makes no representations as to the quality, condition or otherwise of the goods.
- The successful tenderer will rely upon its own enquiries, inspection, and due diligence as to the suitability, quality and condition of the goods as at the time of submitting it’s tender.
- The tenderer will have fully satisfied itself in respect to all things necessary as to the quality and condition of the goods prior to submitting any tender for the purchase of the goods.
- The tenderer irrevocably indemnifies and forever releases the North Burnett Regional Council against any consequential loss, damage, cost, or expense in relation to or arising out of the goods where so ever and how so ever, absolutely.
- By submitting a tender, the tenderer accepts and agrees to be bound by these sale terms and conditions.
- Any information provided by the North Burnett Regional Council in respect to the goods serves only as a general description as to the nature and characteristic of the goods and the tenderer will not rely on any representation, description or document made or produced by the North Burnett Regional Council in relation to the condition of the goods.
- North Burnett Regional Council reserves the right to withdraw any item from the sale at any time.
- Payment
- Payment must be made within 5 business days on notification by the North Burnett Regional Council as to the successful tender.
- The goods remain the property of the North Burnett Regional Council and will not be released until clear funds in full are received by the North Burnett Regional Council.
- The goods must be collected by the successful tenderer at the tenderers cost within 2 days of clear funds in payment of the successful tender being received by the North Burnett Regional Council.
- In the event of default of payment then the goods may at the discretion of the North Burnett Regional Council be resubmitted for sale by tender or disposed otherwise without notice.

- The goods will be available for inspection at the advertised place of inspection between 9am and 3pm Monday to Friday by appointment only.
