The Nogo River Bridge on Barram Road will be closed to heavy vehicles and trucks on Tuesday, 19 October 2021 for approximately 2 weeks for bridge works. Barram Road will still be open to cars and light vehicles.
A detour will be in place to redirect heavy vehicles traffic. Vehicles travelling on Barram Road from the west will need to use Hazeldean Barram Road and then Mt Margaret Road if they wish to travel north, or Rawbelle Road if they wish to travel south.
All traffic that wish to travel west, will be required to detour back to the highway and take either Mt Margaret Road or Rawbelle Road.
The bridge will have structural inspections, maintenance, and rectification in the substructure to take place. The load limit will remain the same once works are completed.
