The North Burnett Regional Council’s vision for their region is for a prosperous future for generations built on a solid foundation of customer-focused, efficient, and effective service delivery.

The CEO will oversee the delivery of a circa $50M budget and lead an organisation of around 200 employees managing the council services and a $1.1B asset portfolio on behalf of the community of the North Burnett Region.

The Mayor and Council are seeking a CEO who will capitalise on the council’s investments in strategy, planning and structural change and engage the community and organisation in tackling the service and sustainability challenges and opportunities of the council and the North Burnett Region.

This role will suit an experienced local government leader who is encouraging, respectful and empathetic, who leads by example and models high standards of accountability, ethics and customer service.
