Council routinely conducts auctions of plant and equipment which is no longer suitable, due to age or utilisation. This year, the plant auction will be conducted through Pickles Auctions, commencing Friday 7 October 2022 at 10:30 am and finishing Tuesday 11 October 2022 at 7:30 pm, when the highest bidders will be determined.

The auction will be held exclusively online, with plant inspections available on viewing days, Monday 10 October, 11 am – 3:30 pm and Tuesday 11 October, 8 am – 3:30 pm. Enclosed footwear must be worn onsite at all times.

All items are sold as pickup only and must be collected during the period from 12 October 2022 to 14 October 2022. Successful bidders will incur a per asset relocation and storage fee to Pickles facility at Gracemere, if item/s are not collected by 14 October 2022. To collect your purchases, please ensure that you bring a copy of your winner’s email or invoice as well as a form of photo ID. If you send a third party to collect your goods on your behalf, you will need to send them with a copy of your winner’s email, a copy of your photo ID and a signed document authorising release of the goods.

Council’s catalogue of equipment is currently available for viewing online, on Pickles’ website.
