Closure of outdoor community recreational facilities

Mar 30, 2020 | COVID-19, Front Page Feature, News

As per the Prime Ministers directive announced Sunday, 29 March 2020 all North Burnett regional public areas, public playgrounds, outside gyms and skate parks in Biggenden, Eidsvold, Gayndah, Monto, Mount Perry, Mundubbera and surrounding villages and areas will be closed as of today Monday, 30 March 2020.

The following advice being endorsed by the National Cabinet is in the interests of public health. You must stay at home except for the following reasons:

  1. Shopping for what you need – food and other essential supplies that enable you to remain at home and to do that shopping as infrequently as possible.
  2. For medical care or compassionate needs.
  3. To exercise in compliance with the public gathering rules outlined.
  4. For work and education if you cannot work or learn remotely.
