Florals in Pastel Workshop at Gayndah Art Gallery

Gayndah Art Gallery 34 Meson Street, Gayndah, Queensland

Susie Capewell who has worked tirelessly as a volunteer at the Gallery since its opening in 2012, will be leaving Gayndah later this year to set off on a new adventure, travelling around Australia with her husband Mark, and with her art materials. When she eventually arrives home, we will all be excited to see the works of art she produces on her journey.​ Before Susie leaves, she will hold a Florals in Pastels workshop on 25 June. Storm Co Free Holiday Fun

Storm Co is a group of senior high school students who choose to visit a rural Australian town to learn from the community and to serve the community where they can. Our group is from Brisbane and we enjoyed visiting Monto for the first time in 2018. Storm is an acronym which stands for ‘Service To Others Really Matters’. Mundubbera Warning Siren Test

Council will conduct a warning siren test in Mundubbera on Friday 1 July at 12:00 pm, midday. This will be a test only, so there is no need for any action to be taken by customers. The purpose of the siren is to warn people of possible life threatening events such as floods, fires and more, and it is tested twice a year. Landscaping Painting in Acrylics with Donna Cagney and Michelle Ashford

  Biggenden's Big In Art group has been successful in receiving a RADF grant for a two day workshop, Landscaping Painting in Acrylics, with Donna Cagney and Michelle Ashford. The workshops will be held at Biggenden Memorial Hall on 2 and 3 July 2022. Fantastic value, at just $35.00 per person for the two days, which includes most materials. Regional Arts Development Fund is a partnership between the Queensland Government and North Burnett Regional Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.
