Council will conduct a warning siren test in Mundubbera on Friday 1 July at 12:00 pm, midday. This will be a test only, so there is no need for any action to be taken by customers. The purpose of the siren is to warn people of possible life threatening events such as floods, fires and more, and it is tested twice a year. Biggenden's Big In Art group has been successful in receiving a RADF grant for a two day workshop, Landscaping Painting in Acrylics, with Donna Cagney and Michelle Ashford. The workshops will be held at Biggenden Memorial Hall on 2 and 3 July 2022. Fantastic value, at just $35.00 per person for the two days, which includes most materials. Regional Arts Development Fund is a partnership between the Queensland Government and North Burnett Regional Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland. The IWC Family Fun Day in celebration of NAIDOC Week is bringing First Nations culture to the spotlight at Lions Park in Gayndah on Thursday 7 July, from 10:30am - 1:30pm. The spirit of NAIDOC is to come together as a nation and celebrate the rich history, culture and achievements of the First Nations People.
