Movie Night Under the Stars – Wonder Park

Enjoy a family night out under the stars and watch Wonder Park. Dinner is sorted with a pizza and garlic bread (thanks for your support A Little Different Cafe) on the menu along with movie favourites of popcorn, ice-creams, lollies and cold drinks. The P&C will also be holding a free easter egg hunt from 5.30-6pm (max of 5 eggs per child).   The Burnett Regional Business Tour is an initiative of BIEDO (Burnett Inland Economic Development Organisation) which forms a component of our partnership with North Burnett Regional Council.' The Business Tour will provide participants insights into business support opportunities, opportunities to network with like minded people, the ability to increase their knowledge. There this is an open forum and there will be opportunity to ask questions about programs, funding and business advice. The format of the event includes: - Arrival with light refreshments - Business Workshop (By Digital Solutions) - Support Presentations (By Business Support Organisations) - Ask the Advisor - Panel Discussion - Networking - drinks and catering (supplied) Doors open at 5pm for a 5:30pm start.

Eidsvold Cattle Drive

Eidsvold Showgrounds Burnett Highway, Eidsvold, Queensland, Australia

Eidsvold Cattle Drive takes participants back on a journey through the past as they spend 6 days in the saddle droving Cattle from Glencoe Station to the Eidsvold Showgrounds. Friday night there is a Dinner Under the Stars at the glorious Eidsvold Station. On Saturday the cattle are brought into town and into the Eidsvold Showgrounds. Many make there way early Saturday morning out to the Eidsvold Station Bridge to watch the cattle mustered across and heading into town. After the cattle make it to the showgrounds we hold a day of cattle related activities. Various demonstrations including a polocross game and fun activities such as the stockman's challenge. There will be market stalls and food available. Heading into the evening we have barrel racing followed by rodeo.

Professor Stupendous and Ted Carter from Ascend Learning will be returning to North Burnett to deliver some VERY COOL activities for kids during Youth Week and the April 2022 school holidays. Expect to get messy, loud and interactive in this fun workshop! Join us for Ancient Aztec games and one of the coolest exploding watermelon experiments using rubber bands. It is advisable to bring an extra set of clothes or a raincoat! This session is recommended for kids aged 7-16.

Professor Stupendous and Ted Carter from Ascend Learning will be returning to North Burnett to deliver some VERY COOL activities for kids during Youth Week and the April 2022 school holidays. The Science and Marshmallow Combat (also known as Mad Marshmallow Melee) will involve teamwork to plan and build a range of items including: An emperor and tower out of pool noodle parts and skewers/toothpicks A wall from paper/plastic cups - without using hands Marshmallow cannons (PVC piping and joins, vacuums) And more! This session is recommended for kids aged 7-16.
