Come along to Gayndah Country Markets, held monthly at Jaycees Park from 8 am to 12 pm. There is a fabulous selection of fresh, local, fruit and vegetables, home made cakes and biscuits, plants, ornaments, gifts and hand made items to be found. Monto Heritage Day is on the Queen’s Birthday long weekend. Enjoy a damper morning tea and sausage sizzle lunch and all the noise that comes with firing up the forge, gold stamper and old machinery. Demonstrations, displays and a delectable cake stall. Opening of the Tom Lynn rock collection of cut, polished and faceted stone from the region and around the world, amongst the historical display and art space.
