Work is currently underway to repair the Gospel Hall Road floodway, which covers approximately 150 metres of roadway and includes the installation of a new concrete floodway with reinforced concrete box culverts. The repair works have commenced and are expected to be completed in April 2024, subject to weather conditions.
The scope of works includes:
• Removal of the damaged floodway and debris
• Construction of a new floodway with reinforced concrete box culverts
• Installation of rock protection around the floodway
• Reconstruction of damaged pavement and pavement leading into and out of the new floodway
• Installation of new guideposts
During the repair work, Gospel Hall Road will be closed at the worksite. A detour will be available via Robertsons Road. Please adhere to any onsite signage for guidance.
