Council remains in discussion with the Department of Transport and Main Roads regarding Harkness Creek Footbridge and is exploring options that offer an accessible and safe outcome for residents, ratepayers, and other stakeholders as soon as possible.
Community safety is a top priority for Council, and this is why the current bridge remains closed. Council understands the community views in relation to the bridge and is exploring a number of options with the Department to address the matter.
