Under the North Burnett Regional Council Local Law No. 4 (Local Government Controlled Area, Facilities and Roads) 2011, camping is not permitted on all local government-controlled areas and roads (i.e. public land, parks, reserves, roadsides) unless otherwise signed. This includes camping in a tent, vehicle, caravan or on the ground. Approved camping and overnight stays are signed with appropriate signage to advise travellers they are permitted to stay, the timeframe they can stay and any other applicable rules / regulations. Penalties apply for illegal camping.

There are various types of accommodation located across the North Burnett Region. To find out more information on available accommodation, please visit North Burnett Regional Council – Accommodation.
