Jack Parr and Hawkwood Bridge Works Commence

Bridge work on Jack Parr Bridge, Coonambula Road and Hawkwood Bridge, Hawkwood Road commenced, 9 March 2021.

Council recently undertook routine visual inspections (Level 2) on some of our timber bridges.  As a result of these inspections, we have identified bridges that are in need of general maintenance, as well as replacement or strengthening of the timber bridge components to ensure that they remain safe.

Bridge works on Jack Parr and Hawkwood bridges are scheduled to be completed by mid-April.  Motorists can expect delays during this period of bridge works.

 Council asks residents of the affected areas to please adhere to signage that is in place.  We apologise for any inconvenience caused during the completion of this program.
