 Senior Management Team Update

Chief Executive Officer, Margot Stork has been with Council for eight weeks.  Ms Stork has been welcomed into the organisation by Councillors and Staff and has had a very busy couple of months with the adoption of the budget, attending the Australian Local Government Association conference in Canberra as well as getting around to meet most staff and visited offices and depots.   Council has also welcomed Skye Price as interim General Manager of Corporate & Community and Anna Scott as interim General Manager Works.

Dallarnil Sports Toilet Facilities

Councillors were disappointed to discover that the Dallarnil Sports Toilet Facilities were vandalised earlier in the month, and as a result have been closed until further notice.  Cisterns were broken, taps were jammed on and the tank ran dry.  It has been suggested that the pump might have burnt out, too.  Council will be meeting with the Dallarnil Sports Association to discuss future use of these facilities.

Covid-19

With covid-19 and influenza widely about in our community, I urge community members to take responsibility for your own health and the health of those around you.  If you are unwell, please stay at home and follow the advice of Queensland Health.  If you are at risk, please consider wearing a mask where you deem appropriate.
