The Mobile Black Spot Program, an Australian Government initiative, aims to improve mobile coverage and competition nationwide. With over $1 billion invested and 1,400 new base stations constructed across Australia, the North Burnett region has benefited from this program.
Grosvenor is conducting an evaluation on behalf of the Australian Government to assess the program’s effectiveness and explore future improvements. Residents are encouraged to participate in the community survey on mobile phone coverage, which is vital for our local industries and road safety.
This is an opportunity to provide feedback about mobile coverage and inform future policy/program design.
In the survey you can share your thoughts on the mobile service in your area:
- What is working and not working?
- What could be improved?
- What mobile services do you use, and for what purposes?
- The coverage, reliability, and quality of mobile services.
- The range of choices of telecommunications services.
- Any social, economic, and/or safety impacts since the delivery of the base station?
Please take 5-10 minutes to complete the survey, by scanning the QR Code in the flyer or going to: https://bit.ly/3zpYFxd
The survey will remain open until 31 October 2024.
