Mundubbera Gym getting a facelift!

From Friday 30 August to Monday 9 September, the Mundubbera Community Gym will be closed to the public while it receives a much needed facelift. 

New paint will bring the interior of the gym to life when it re-opens to the public on Monday 9 September.

Due to equipment needing to be moved while painting is undertaken, the facility will not be able to be utilised during this time for safety reasons.

“Council strives to provide high quality facilities for our residents and apologises for any inconvenience to patrons during this time” Deputy Mayor Cr Whelan said.

Patrons are welcome to exercise in the undercover area, but will need to arrange access to equipment with Council staff.

Council is excited to introduce our new Sport and Recreation Officer Sally Galloway, who will commence with Council on 9 September.  Sally will work closely with our gym patrons in Mundubbera and Eidsvold to deliver a quality service and facility for our local communities.  Please be sure to say hello when Sally joins our team!
