The countdown is on – National Simultaneous Storytime is almost here!
Join us at your local library between 20 May and 24 May to experience the magic of stories, as we read this year’s book, ‘Bowerbird Blues’ by Aura Parker.
Along with the story, we will have all your favourite songs and rhymes followed by an interactive craft activity. As part of the fun, why not come dressed in blue!
National Simultaneous Storytime is perfect for children under 6 years and their parents and caregivers.
National Simultaneous Storytime, now in its 24th year, is a vibrant and fun event that brings children together in libraries, schools, pre-schools, childcare centres, and homes around the country to promote the value of reading and literacy. 2023 was the biggest and most successful National Simultaneous Storytime to date with over 2.18 million participants at over 59,000 locations and we are aiming to make this year even bigger!
