Council has commenced planning for 2023 Australia Day celebrations and we want to hear the opinions and ideas of everyone in our community on the best way to celebrate the wonderful people in our region and the unique communities that we live in. This includes the format and location of awards ceremonies, entertainment, activities and award categories and any other feedback that is important for you to share with us.
Today, Council has released a community sentiment survey, which is an opportunity to share your ideas, vision, thoughts, likes and dislikes and shape the way we celebrate Australia Day into the future.
The survey can be located online www.surveymonkey.com/r/nbrc-aus-day and will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. The survey can also be completed in person at our Customer Service and Library Centres. If further assistance is required, Council staff are also able to help community members complete the survey over the phone.
Your valuable feedback will be used to assist Council in understanding our North Burnett community views towards Australia Day and will influence our planning and decision-making on Australia Day awards and events in 2023 and beyond.
