North Burnett Local Disaster Management Group (LDMG) met at 9.30am 28/10/23.
Multiple fires are currently burning throughout the North Burnett. Aircraft continue to assist along with new crews from outside of North Burnett.
Priority today is to continue strengthening containment lines. Council reminds the community we are currently in a Fire Ban and there are multiple advice warnings in place for Smoke Hazard.
The community should take this into consideration when making your weekend plans and avoid unnecessary travel.
