Saturday 17th of September 2022. Mungungo V's the World 7 a side cricket Fun Day Fundraiser. Raising funds for Life Flight, Ridgehaven Retirement Complex Monto and Local Junior Community Groups. Always a fun day of cricket, catching up with mates having a feed & a drink while enjoying the nice fresh country air. There a Bar (no BYO), canteen, shaded area to sit down or bring your own chair, picnic rug, gazebo to set up. There is plenty of room for children to run around and play as well as a jumping castle - bring the whole family!! This will be a cash only event - no efpots. Limited telstra mobile phone service. Continuous raffle happening through out the day - you will need to be there to collect your prize in the continuous raffle. There will also be another raffle with tickets going on sale before the event that you don't need to be there to win.
Saturday, 29 October 2022 will be a very important day of reckoning, determining who will WIN the Mungungo & Moonford competition. Come on down to the Monto Bowls club at 1pm. Bring your mates & make a team to have a game & see who will take home the trophy. Moonford won the first Cricket game that was held at Mungungo, Mungungo won the second cricket game that was held at Moonford/Wongalee, so the decider will be held on neutral grounds.
Fay's Day at the MCG - Mungungo Cricket Grounds on Knights Road, is a casual day to celebrate our community. Teams will be chosen on the day, starting at 1pm and having a BBQ dinner to finish. Food & drink will be available throughout the afternoon. All past players and sponsors are welcome to attend. Fun Family Cricket beneficiaries of our Mungungo V's The World event are also invited to come along to officially accept the donation.
You are invited to the AGM for the Mungungo Sports & Recreation Club Inc. The AGM will be held at Mungungo Pub. All positions will be vacant. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a wonderful group of volunteers and help organise a great event.
