Council is seeking a Caretaker Service for the popular Mingo Crossing Caravan Park. Mingo Crossing is located in beautiful natural surrounds, at 2670 Gayndah Mount Perry Road, Mingo 4625 and is central to Mount Perry, Biggenden and Gayndah townships.
Mingo Crossing Caravan Park currently hosts six (6) Glamping Tents (2x family, 2x medium & 2x small sized tents) which are all fully established and currently being hired out for use. Since their opening, the Glamping Tents have become quite popular with tourists, attracting high praise from guests. The Glamping Tents are serviced by a linen provider, New Image Linen, who delivers fortnightly orders, with collection and drop off points located at the Mount Perry Caravan Park.
Mingo Crossing Caravan Park also boasts 20 powered caravan/camper van sites and approximately 125 unpowered sites. Mingo Crossing has a reputation amongst visitors as a popular spot for camping, fishing, water skiing and relaxation.
There are two (2) amenities blocks, which both include disabled access amenities, available for use by campers and day trippers, two (2) fully functional coin operated laundries, undercover BBQ areas with gas operated BBQs, a children’s playground and lots of room for guests to enjoy their favourite activities.
The important role of the Caretaker is to make welcome all patrons and provide caravan park services that are always of the highest standard and quality, ensuring that the Mingo Crossing Caravan Park is maintained and operated in accordance with the Scope of Work.
