Many roads around the North Burnett are still very much impacted by flood water and flood damage. As water recedes it shows the extent of the damage to infrastructure.
Our teams are out there working hard to inspect roads, bridges and other assets in the affected areas. They are also working on the removal of debris and clean up where possible. As locals, you understand how big an area this is – it will take time.
We have received a lot of calls about damaged roads, thanks for reporting these hazards. We appreciate our community coming together and helping be our eyes and ears as well.
