The Reginald Murray Williams Australian Bush Learning Centre (RMWABLC) is proud to announce its upcoming exhibition, LOVE OF COUNTRY, a captivating series by renowned country artist Sue Lederhose. Running from October 2, 2024, to January 5, 2025, the exhibition showcases Lederhose’s deeply personal study of wide-open spaces and unobstructed sunsets, capturing the essence of rural Australia.

A self-taught artist, Sue Lederhose has honed her skills over the years through professional development workshops, evolving into an award-winning and published artist. Her impressive accomplishments include features in Artist’s Palette magazine, a televised appearance on Colour in Your Life, tutoring at McGregor Schools, and an art residency in Thailand.

LOVE OF COUNTRY draws inspiration from Lederhose’s home in Mundubbera and her travels across rural Queensland, the Northern Territory, and Western Australia. Through her impressionistic style and preferred medium of watercolour, she brings to life the vibrant colours, striking light, and raw beauty of the Australian landscape. Each piece is an expressive capture of nature’s rugged terrain, where her brushstrokes convey the awe and wonder she finds in God’s creation.

Visitors are invited to immerse themselves in the splendour of the Australian countryside through Lederhose’s breathtaking works, which celebrate the inherent beauty of our natural environment.

Join us at RMWABLC to experience this extraordinary collection.
