A celebration of Biggenden’s bounty and the legacy left by the early pioneers. It is also the 200th anniversary of birth of William Henry Walsh, the first white settler in the district who came after the explorers. The event will include abook launch of the Biggenden Wall of Fame and Pioneer Walk, bus tour of the district, street markets, music, pony rides, old time activities, a guided climb of Mt Walsh, art exhibition, rose display and a theatre restaurant.
During the celebration everyone will be encouraged to wear period dress. At the same time there will be a Biggenden School Class Reunion of Year 10, 1968 and a Back to Biggenden for all those who have moved away. This event will be sponsored by the Biggenden Historical Society.
