Walk For Epilepsy family fun day at the Mount Perry Summit Walk, Scrub Road, Mount Perry. Walk to the peak of Mount Perry along the newly opened Summit Walk to raise vital funds for Epilepsy Queensland. 6.9km return walk along a variety of vegetation from dry rainforest to fern clad hillsides. $5 per adult kids free Face painting, sausage sizzle and much more.

Being able to communicate what you do is always important and in this busy world it is increasingly important that we can do this succinctly and still standout from competitors. To assist achieve success in this area, you are invited to a 1 hour Introduction to Capability Statements Breakfast where we will get you started. At the breakfast, we will also outline a program of how you can learn the additional concepts required. These include some recorded sessions that you can view at a time that best suits you. As you may still have questions and there are other concepts to learn, we will host a 1 hour webinar prior to Christmas to round out what is normally a 4 hour workshop. But you may still require some assistance or feedback. For this, we offer a one on one session (probably via video conference) to assist attendees fine tune their Capability Statement. Young dancers aged 2–17 years, senior participants, as well as school and studio teachers are invited to join Queensland Ballet for a range of inclusive workshops to explore the wonderful world of ballet. Council has partnered with Queensland Ballet to bring one day of in-school workshops (22/10/21 – Mundubbera and Gayndah) and one day of Community Classes (Petite Pointers, 6-11 years, 12 – 17 years, and Seniors (active older adults) – Saturday 23 October 2021. The QLD Ballet will be coming to the region in October 2021 to facilitate community ballet sessions in Gayndah. QB Petit Pointers (2-5 years): Queensland Ballet’s Petit Pointers is an early years dance program, with lessons set within a framework of storytelling, exploration and artistic play. Designed to stimulate the imagination, musicality and natural movement in children aged 2 – 5 years. All participants will have a joyous experience with an important carer in their life. Community Classes: Children from aged 6 –17 years will delight in tailored ballet workshops delivered by Queensland Ballet’s highly skilled teaching artists. This is an inclusive experience focusing on exploring ballet technique. No prior dance experience required! Active Seniors: Queensland Ballet’s Seniors class is especially tailored for active adults with a focus on improving poise, core strength, memory and mobility. No previous dance experience required and the class is open to all adults who would like to experience ballet.

This Exhibition is about rediscovering the Exhibitors’ identity through repurposing materials that have been collected, stored and forgotten. Seinileva is a Ceramicist and a Weaver of Tongan descent, her craft is driven by strong connections with traditional materials, stories and customs. In her textile art, Seinileva uses scraps of jewellery, costumes and plastics to weave garments that represent different genera tions' styles of making. Seinileva shares this Exhibition with her father, Tuifua, who displays bowls that have been repurposed into kava bowls. Maintaining tradition through different materials.
