Animal Nutrition Soil Health Post Flood Learnings

Burnett Mary Regional Group (BMRG) invite you to join us for a day of knowledge building and sharing, including a Q & A Session, presenting on Animal Nutrition/Soil Health and the impacts post flood. The event is free and part of the Industry Recovery and Resilience Officer Program . Hear from Jim Wade on why optimum health in your livestock herd is so important to the "repair and recovery" process. Ian Moss from Farm Agronomy will talk you through the benefits of multispecies pasture and regenerative agriculture principles, and the importance of identifying deficiencies in soil for productive pastures. Cameron Leckie, Soil Specialist and Regional Coordinator for SQNNSW Innovation Hub will take you on a "deep dive" into the results of flood inundated soils across the region. Find out about the latest funding and support services through the Farm Business Resilience Program, QRIDA grants and loans, and the Industry Recovery and Resilience Program for flood affected producers.
