Heywire Storytelling Workshop in North Burnett

Calling all young writers & changemakers! This July, the ABC Heywire team are facilitating an online Storytelling Workshop at the North Burnett Libraries. Heywire is a storytelling competition for people aged 16-22 living in regional, rural and remote Australia. Heywire encourages young people to tell stories about their life outside the major cities. The competition closes on 1 September 2024 – if you’re not sure where to start, this workshop is for you! By entering your story, you could win the chance to work directly with ABC producers and receive an all-expenses paid trip to the ABC Heywire Regional Youth Innovation Summit in Canberra next year!
