Mundubbera – Youth Week

Professor Stupendous will be returning to the North Burnett for Youth Week in the 2023 April School holidays. This time, our adopted Professor will be joined by the Brilliant Mr B - the funniest tennis coach this side of the universe. There will be everything from inspiring the next generation of tennis super stars, super fun games, robotics and even a Science Show! Spaces are limited! Mundubbera – National Simultaneous Storytime

Join us for the event of the year between 22-24 May.  National Simultaneous Storytime is back and the countdown is on! Come along to your local Library to experience the magic of Storytime, reading this year’s book – ‘The Speedy Sloth’ by Rebecca Young & Heath McKenzie – an inspiring story about Spike, a determined sloth who shows us that being a winner means doing your best! It’s the perfect way to ignite your child’s love for books and learning.  Along with the story, there will be your favourite songs, rhymes, activities and even a colouring competition to keep you and your little ones entertained. This session is best suited for children under 6 years and their parents and caregivers. National Simultaneous Storytime, now in its 23rd year, brings children together in libraries, schools, pre-schools, childcare centres and homes around the country to read an Australian picture book at the same time (in our case across 3 days!). In 2022, over 2.18 million participants came together at 59,000 locations! It a vibrant and fun event that aims to promote the value of reading and literacy.
