Join grant writer Olivia Everitt for a three-hour Grant Writing for the Arts workshop (beginner-intermediate level). This workshop explores the nuts and bolts of writing successful grant applications. This workshop is suitable for individual artists (of any discipline), arts organisations or collectives, heritage groups, festival organisers, event managers and arts workers seeking funding for their creative practice, organisation or project. Topics covered during this session include, but are not limited to: Overview of government, corporate and philanthropic funding relevant to the arts and cultural sector Overview of grant terminology and where to find relevant grants Project planning (e.g. timelines, community engagement, risk management and more) Budgets (e.g. artist fees, travel allowances and contingencies) Auspicing, partnerships and support materials such as letters of support Useful templates and sourcing data and research relevant to your project About the Facilitator: Olivia Everitt is a grant writer, project coordinator, workshop facilitator and arts consultant with over 14 years’ experience working across the arts, economic development and not-for-profit sectors.
