The Planning Act 2016 requires Council to publish each decision notice, statement of reasons and exemption certificates.

Making a Submission
Making a submission about a development application simply means making comments on a development application that is required by legislation to advertise and invite public comment on the development.
Submissions are typically made to either express support for, or objection to, a development proposal. However, you can express support for particular aspects of a development proposal while also expressing concerns or objections to other aspects. You can also make neutral observations.

DA230024 – MATERIAL CHANGE OF USE FOR SERVICE STATION AND OPERATIONAL WORKS FOR FIVE (5) ADVERTISING DEVICES AT FREDERICK STREET AND JOHN STREET, BIGGENDEN AND ALSO FRONTING CAROLINE STREET / ISIS HIGHWAY, BIGGENDEN
Council has received a material change of use application for a service station and operational works application for five (5) advertising devices at Frederick Street and John Street Biggenden, also fronting Caroline Street/Isis Highway, Biggenden on land known as lot 11 and lot 21 on B4469. As per the North Burnett Regional Council Planning Scheme and Planning Act 2016 a service station application located within the general residential zone is impact assessable and must undergo public notification for a period 15 business days. The applicant has advised Council that they intend to commence public notification on 1 September 2023.
